Dean returns to full swing with two winners

Two weeks after his stables was one of three declared "off limits" for four days because of one of his horses contracted Strangles, trainer Brian Dean was back in the the thick of action and rewarded with two winners on the polytrack at Kranji tonight.

During the four-day period, Dean was not allowed to take his horses out of the stables and had to resort to walking his horses inside the barn to keep their fitness.

It was therefore remarkable that he managed to get KAEPEEYAI and MOVIE GOER to the winner's circle.

It was a long awaited return to form for KAEPEEYAI (Dash For Cash - Dowager Empress by Vice Regent) who scored his only previous win in August last year.

But his star performer of the night was MOVIE GOER (Country Reel - Flawed Logic by Rory's Jester) who made it two wins in two starts in the Novice - 1100m sprint. The three-year-old had cost Dean just A$14,000 as a yearling.
