The Singapore Turf Club has granted jockey Vlad Duric a 12-month extension to his visiting jockey’s licence.

The 32-year-old Australian will therefore see his current licence, which expires on JUly 31, renewed from August 1 to July 21, 2011.

A winner of over 1,300 races including several at Group level in Australia, most notable being the Group 1 Caulfield Cup and Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes in 2007, Duric has proved both popular and successful for a variety of trainers since his arrival in Singapore in April 2009.

Duric has to-date recorded 98 victories at Kranji and currently sits second on the 2010 Jockey’s Premiership table on 47 wins. He goes to scale at 54kg.
