Easy Jockey unbeaten in three starts

EASY JOCKEY lived up to his billing when he completed a superb hat-trick in a Class 3 (Banded 57-74) - 1200m sprint here today.

Costing his owners Golden Knight Stable NZ$120,000 at the Ready To Run Sale, EASY JOCKEY (Footstepsinthesand - Passing Hope by Sadler's Wells) had won his last two starts in runaway fashion.

Starting at a raging RM7, EASY JOCKEY never gave his backers any anxious moment as he cruised to a 4 1/4-length win.

Home based trainers made a clean sweep of the eight races the first day of the MRA Cup meeting today.
