Escamonda bags Proinn

Trainer Patrick Shaw and
jockey Robbie Fradd teamed up to win a third consecutive feature race when
ESCAMONDA captured the S$175,000 Proinn Construct Stakes over 1700m on the
polytrack at Kranji here tonight.
Their success in the Group
3 event tonight followed that of the Punters' Way Cup with VOLPISTA and
Winner21.com Trophy with MY SON last Sunday.
Winner of five races in
Argentina including the Group 1 Gran Premio 25 De Mayo, ESCAMONDA (Alpha
Plus - Wise Girl by Gold Trojan) broke through for maiden Singapore win on
the polytrack last August.
He has since finished third
to BETTER THAN EVER in the Raffles Cup (1800m) and fifth to RISKY BUSINESS
in the Singapore Gold Cup (2200m) last time out when he attempted to make
all the running.
