Jockey Robbie Fradd
today failed in his appeal against a two-month suspension for his ride on SALVAGENTE in the Class
5, Div 2 - 1400m sprint at Kranji on Feb 16.
At the conclusion of an inquiry on March 3, Fradd was
found guilty to
a charge under MRA Rule 44(9)(b)(ii) and suspended two months.
The Race Meeting Stewards heard Fradd's appeal
today.
After considering all of the evidence together with submissions from Fradd,
his legal counsel, the Chairman of the Inquiry Panel and his legal counsel,
the Race Meeting Stewards dismissed the appeal. The penalty was confirmed
and Jockey Fradd was suspended for a period of two months with effect from
today to July 20, 2010. His deposit was forfeited.  |
