Trainer Michael Freedman
had a perfect day, saddling just two runners for two wins at Kranji today.
First up was ZAC BEAT IT (I
Conquer - Dance To My Beat by Citidancer) who followed up on his maiden win
last start to take the Progress - 1600m event.
Then Freedman's rising star
TUMBULGUM (Bianconi - Herries by Alquoz) made it three wins from four starts
in the main event of the day, the Class 2 - 1200m sprint, having won once in
seven starts in Australia.
Both his winners were
ridden by Danny Beasley.
Vlad Duric, meanwhile,
continued to set the pace in the jockey's premiership with a double of his
own on TWIN ACE and SHING YI.
TWIN ACE (Volksraad -
Fluoro by Rory's Jester) had only to beat three rivals in the Restricted
Maiden - 1100m sprint on the polytrack for his breakthrough win in four
starts.
SHING YI (Danske - Elle
Taine by Centaine) returning to winning form after finding one to beat in
his last three starts in the Class 4 - 1000m sprint also on the polytrack.
It was his sixth win in 39 outings.
