HUNGARIAN, who won his
Malaysian debut in February to give trainer Aditiyan Selvaratanam his first
winner in the country, is back in the winner's circle with a easy victory in
a Class 4 (Banded 39-49) event over 1100m here today.
Ridden again by Jose De
Souza who partnered him in his previous success, HUNGARIAN (Ghadeer -
Budapeste by Roi Normand) got home by 1 1/4 lengths, putting behind two
disappointing outings since his last success.
CHECKPOINT CHARLIE, who has
found one to beat four times in his last five starts, found a change of
fortune to romp home by 2 1/4 lengths in another Class 4 (Banded 39-49) -
1100m sprint.
The day's races began with
an upset when GOLDEN ORCHID (Tuscany Flyer - Truly Lucky by Truly Vain)
showed up for the first time in 12 starts to take the opening event to pay
RM223 for a win.
