GOOD JUDGEMENT maintained
his unbeaten record in Malaysia when he accounted for a strong field of
three-year-olds to win the RM200,000 Dewar's Sprint over 1200m at Sungei
Besi here today.
Ridden by Azhar Ismail, who
renewed partnership with the Australian gelding after missing out on his
last two runs because of suspension, GOOD JUDGEMENT (Lonhro Knight - Agile
by Canny Lad) won comfortably by 1 1/4 lengths for his fifth consecutive
win.
Undoubtedly the most
promising of his age this season, GOOD JUDGEMENT, trained by Kevin Coetzee,
will not contest the Malaysia 3YO Championship next month as he did not take
part in the heats in Ipoh last month. But he has more than proven himself
today.
Purchased for A$170,000 as
a yearling, GOOD JUDGEMENT was placed in his only start at Ascot in Perth
before coming over to Malaysia.
