Triple Luck back in form with game win

PENANG,  March 15, 2010

TRIPLE LUCK bounced back after three disappointing runs to win the Da Ma Cai Stakes (Race 1 Race) over 1200m in soft going here today.

It was on this track where the six-year-old captured the Sprint Trophy last August. He then scored again over the Ipoh 1100m straight course and was third in the Coronation Cup - a race he won in 2008 - last November.

But with visiting jockey Peter Praem in the saddle today, TRIPLE LUCK (Akhenaton - Casual Lies by Hungtingdale) was back near his best form when he prevailed by a nose in a thrilling finish, defeating ULTIMATE GLAMOUR who had finished third in the Sultan Gold Vase last November.

It was the 11th win in 30 starts for the Simon Liew trained gelding who has already won more than RM2m in prizemoney.
