NADAL the world's top-ranked tennis player may be taking an injury time-out at the moment but there's no stopping NADAL the racehorse in Singapore.

After scoring in his debut in November 2008, NADAL (Bletchley Park - You Are My Destiny by Dauberval) went through the 2009 season winless but has come back to form stronger than ever in the last few months after coming under trainer David Kok early in the year.

Ridden by Leong Yoon Fei, the five-year-old followed up on his last start success in Class 4 to narrowly capture the Kranji Stakes C - 1000m sprint on the polytrack at Kranji here tonight, holding off the fast-finishing MAGICAL WONDERLAND to win by a head.

It was his sixth win in 30 starts but the fourth in his last six outings since June this year. The gelding is finally beginning to justified his A$130,000 price tag as a two-year-old at the Horses In Training Sale.
