To make up for lost opportunity for its home based horses, Perak Turf Club will hold two novelty meetings next month.

The novelty meeting on Oct 16 had been announced earlier in the year. Now the club is adding another on Oct 2.

Full racing in Malaysia will resume this week with the running of the third and fourth days of the Perak Turf Club September meeting. A total of 25 races have been scheduled for the two days.

During the six-week break in Malaysia racing, Selangor Turf Club held two novelty meetings on Aug 31 and Sep 11.
