The magic is back in Soo Khoon Beng, the 2005 champion jockey who had to endure a miserable 2008 season during which he rode only winners following a four-month stint in South Korea.

Soo, who won the championship with 74 winners in 2005, chalked up a more respectable 22 wins last season and following a four-winner strike at Kranji tonight, now sits in third spot in the table with 27 wins.

Soo took newcomer MAGIC MOXIE (El Moxie - Private Time by Pirate Army) to an easy win in the Restricted Maiden - 1200m sprint and he wound up the evening winning the last three races.

OVER THE RAINBOW (Elusive Quality - River Express by Blazing Sword), who won once in seven starts in Australia, made it two wins in two outings in Singapore in the Kranji Stakes C - 1100m sprint.

SINFOUR (Johannesburg - Minelli by Flying Spur) was back in the winner's circle after two starts while GOOD GOOD LUCK (Magic Albert - Our Impala by Human) found his winning form after several notching up placings this season.
