Blessingindisguise scores maiden win

BLESSINGINDISGUISE broke through for her maiden win in one of the biggest races for National Premier Sale (NPS) graduates by claiming the RM150,000 NSF Queen Of The Turf over 1400m here today.

Twice in 12 previous outings, the four-year-old had found one to beat but there was no denying her in this fillies and mares contest.

Ridden by Lai Kin Man, BLESSINGINDISGUISE (Dolphin Street - Consummation by Serheed) outsprinted six rivals to win by half-a-length.

She cost just RM40,000 at the 2009 NPS and her dam won five races in Malaysia and once finished third in the Astro Wah Lai Toi Charity Cup (2000m).
