BRUDDER, who finished second to MY RACE in a Class 4, Div 2 - 1400m handicap at Kranji on February 25, has been disqualified from the race and trainer trainer Michael Clements fined S$15,000.

Urine sample taken from BRUDDER after the race revealed the presence of Testosterone. The subsequent analysis of the referee sample confirmed the presence of Testosterone.

At the conclusion of an inquiry yesterday, Clements pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA Rule of Racing 134(6) in that he, as the trainer of BRUDDER, presented BRUDDER to race in the above-mention event, following a urine sample taken from that horse failed a post-race screening which found the sample to contain the presence of Testosterone, in excess of the threshold in the MRA Rules and therefore a prohibited substance under the MRA Rules of Racing. Clements was fined a sum of S$15,000 and was advised of his aight of appeal.
