Coetzee chases title with two winners

PENANG:  Dec 17, 2011

Kevin Coetzee is determined to retain his trainer's title and deny Richard Lines his first after saddling two winners here today.

With just three racing days left of the season, Coetzee is just two winners behind Lines (65 to 63) who has set the pace for much of the season.

TIME SPEED (Second Empire - Lilliegold by Twenty For Karat) scored his 10th win in the Table 1 - 1400m event to give Coetzee his first winner of the afternoon.

Two races later, Coetzee had his second when PEOPLE'S CHOICE (Johannesburg - La Bella Dame by Royal Academy) made it three wins in seven outings in a Class 4 - 1200m sprint.
