Trainer Kevin Coetzee and
jockey Azhar Ismail consolidated their positions at the top of their
respective tables with a good-priced double here today.
GOOD MEANING (Postponed -
Imperial Patrice by Polish Blue), who cost NZ$105,000 at the Ready-To-Run
sale, made it two wins in six starts winning a Class 4 - 1100m sprint by a
neck.
SATISFACTION (Royal Academy
- Wide Vision by Danehill) had it slightly easier, accounting for a good
Class 4 field over 1400m, winning a neck. It was his third win in 11 starts
and second in a row.
Meanwhile, high-riding Muhd
Mutaza took over the lead in the apprentice table after winning on FIRST
LADY (Magic Of Money - Cendrillon by Military Plume) for his 13th success of
the season.
