Low and Lines on a high with double

KUALA LUMPUR:  Nov 25, 2011

Jockey Jackson Low and trainer Richard Lines took another major step to their first respective title when they combined to land a double at Sungei Besi here today.

The duo have forged a formidable partnership this season and they continued their impressive strike rate with the aptly-named SIMPLY STUNNING (More Than Ready - Mt Eliza by Snippets) and followed with CHINA TOWN BANK (De Troy - Southern Paradise by Valid Appeal).

SIMPLY STUNNING, who failed to score in a brief campaign in Singapore, has picked up four wins in Malaysia since joining the stables of Lines.

The latter, who began racing just three months ago, notched up his first win in fie starts.

With the double, Low (56 wins) is now six wins ahead of Azhar Ismail while Lines leads last season's champion Kevin Coztee by three in the trainer's table with 61 wins.
