Easy Flying cruises to mild upset

EASY FLYING (One Cool Cat - Pegarah by Grosvenor) returned to the winner's circle after lapse of just three starts to create a mild upset in the Table 1 - 1600m event here today.

Ridden by Azhar Ismail, the New Zealand proved a shade too good for the bang-in-form last start winner EARL GREY, winning by half a length.

It was his first success over the 'mile' after having won four times over 1200m and 1400m in ten previous starts.

EASY FLYING was purchased by his owner for NZ$80,000 at the Ready To Run sale and is a half-brother to two Singapore winners CHABLIS and GREAT PACIFIC.
