The Hawk swoops on his rivals

KUALA LUMPUR:  Dec 3, 2011

Promising galloper THE HAWK and apprentice Mutaza Salleh are on a roll, with the pair teaming up to score on fourth consecutive occasion in the Class 3 - 1600m handicap at Sungei Besi here today.

Mutaza was astride the Australian gelding in his unplaced debut and found one to beat in his next ride.

But after winning twice with other riders on board, THE HAWK (Black Hawk - Eliza Park by Scenic) has only found the mark when guided by Mutaza.

Purchased by trainer Barry Brogan for A$30,000 as a 3YO at the Horses In Training Sale, THE HAWK has now won six times in 13 starts.
