Perfect Pins strikes again at Kranji

Nine months on at Kranji, PERFECT PINS is starting to show the sort of form he displayed in five starts in Malaysia, when he scored four consecutive wins before finishing third to CAPTAIN OBVIOUS in the 2009 Malaysia Magic Millions Classic.

It was only at his sixth start in Singapore that PERFECT PINS, now trained by Douglas Dragon, broke through for his maiden win in a Benchmark 97 - 1000m sprint on the polytrack at Kranji.

Two outings later, PERFECT PINS (Pins - Time Is Hope by River Rough) repeated the feat over the same course and distance today when he lead all the way to win by two and a half lengths.

Purchased by his owners for NZ$170,000 as a yearling, PERFECT PINS was unplaced in three starts at two in New Zealand before heading to Malaysia.
