Trump Player comes up tops

After finding one to beat four times in his last five starts, TRUMP PLAYER came up tops to win the Class 3 - 1200m sprint here today.

It was also a welcome change of luck for Harmeet Singh Gill as the apprentice was on board on the American entire in three of the placings.

But TRUMP PLAYER (Appealing Skier - Gambler's Faith by Prospectors Gamble) was in no mood to play bridesmaid again this time, coasting to a two-and-a-quarter-length win.

It was his third win in 17 starts but his first after a lapse of 16 months.
