Blue Tosca wins again after long layoff

After enduring more than 10 months on the sidelines due to injury, BLUE TOSCA is back on top of his game after a runaway win in the Class 3 - 1200m sprint here today, the first day of the Penang Turf Club January Meeting which is being staged at this track.

BLUE TOSCA (Canny Lad - Desert Bride by Desert King), who won two races in 2009, had to take a back seat after winning a Class 4 - 1400m sprint last February.

The Stephen Cook trained five-year-old resumed on New Year's day with a third placing over the 1100m straight course here and quickly stepped up on that run to win by 2 3/4 lengths today.

BLUE TOSCA was Cook's second winner of the day. NO MONEY NO TALK (Foreplay - Courtly Qualms by Scrupules) followed up on his debut win last month to take the opening event.
