Useeicome off the mark in Malaysia

Improving with every run, USEEICOME (Tale Of The Cat - Ariyam by Dancing Brave) got off the mark in Malaysia with a stylish win in the final event (Class 3 - 1200m) here today.

Taking advantage of a light impost on a track made "heavy" after days of continuous rain, the Australian gelding scored comfortably by one length after finishing third in his debut and second last time out in his initial two starts.

Although he campaigned for four seasons in Australia, USEEICOME was sparingly raced with just 13 starts, winning once each at three and four.

Brazilian jockey Jose De Souza prevented a clean sweep by local jockeys when he scored on MAGIC MELANG (Don Edurado - Miss Jimeale by Khairpour).
