Plenty of former Singapore
based horses have crossed the causeway to seek greener pastures and many of
them have found a new lease on life in Malaysia.
WON'T STOP is one horse who
had gone the other direction and more than measure up in Singapore.
After chalking up two wins
and two seconds from just five starts in Malaysia, WON'T STOP (Testa Rossa -
No Say by Celestial Dancer) moved down south to join trainer Leslie Khoo.
After beating one home in
his Kranji debut, when he jumped extreme awkwardly resulting in his rider
becoming unbalanced, the Australian gelding stepped up to the plate and
scored a runaway win next time out.
Ridden again by Joao
Moreira, the four-year-old defied a promotion to register another runaway
win in the Class 3 - 1200m sprint on the polytrack tonight. A promising
future awaits for a horse who cost just A$10,000 as a yearling.
