Woodworth wins half the card in Ipoh

Former champion jockey Benny Woodworth was in superb form on a soft track here today when he won four of his six rides in the eight-race card.

SUSPECT (General Nediym - Wandane by Danehill), who managed just one placing in 11 previous starts, kicked off Woodworth's afternoon and he went to win his next two rides as well on MAJESTIC AMETHYST (Danzighill - Myella Bijou by Northerly Native) and HAPPY NINETY NINE (Sequalo - Double Strength by Danehill).

ALL RISE (Repriced - Bluegrass Lassie by Irish River), who found one to beat in his last three starts, found better luck this time to record his second win in 15 starts, winding up Woodworth's afternoon on a winning note.
