At the ripe of old age of
seven, BEST WRESTLER seems to be racing at his best form.
Partnered by Benny
Woodworth for a third consecutive time today, the seven-year-old romped to a
two-and-a-half-length win in a Class 4 - 1400m handicap here today to
complete a hat-trick.
BEST WRESTLER (Prince
Domino - Amboulette by Hideyoshi) won one race in each season from 2006 to
2009. But after a break of 19 months, found the mark again to win twice last
month to take his earning pass RM220,000, a splendid return for a horse who
cost A$10,000 as a yearling.
EMBASSY is also back at his
best after a setback. The five-year-old pulled up with respiratory distress
last October and was spelled till last month when he made a winning return
to racing.
EMBASSY (Zaha - Elinor by
Yonder) backed it up today when he coasted home by three and a quarter
lengths in the Table 1 - 1400m sprint.
