Aranda bounces back in style

ARANDA (Bel Esprit - Orchid Lady by Centro) bounced back from the disappointment of finishing second last in the Penang Sprint Trophy just two weeks ago to win the Table 1 contest over 1400m here today.

Ridden by jockey Mohammad Djulkifli, the six-year-old out-sprinted the favourite MEAN ME UP to win by one and a quarter lengths to pay RM86 for a win.

Earlier in the season, the Australian gelding had win a similar event over 1400m in Penang and the three-time winner at Kranji has been pretty useful since moving to Malaysia where he has now picked up six wins since April last year.
