Littlebitofjoy is champion 4YO for the year

LITTLEBITOFJOY has been crowned the champion four-year-old in Malaysia this season after capturing the final leg of the three-race challenge series over 2000m here today.

After winning the second leg mile challenge in Ipoh last month, the American horse started odds-on and won three-quarter length to pay RM8 for a win.

Trained by Edylyn Goh, LITTLEBITOFJOY did not participate in the first leg of the challenge which was run over 1200m and has now four races since coming under the rookie trainer.

Meanwhile, Jose De Souza kept up his slim hope for the premiership this season with a double on HEARD THE LATEST and LITTLEBITOFJOY to bring his tally to 50 for the season, eight behind the leader Eirwan Khalid with just two more racing days to go.
