GOAL KEEPER (Untouchable - My Cousin Rachel by Kampala) shut out his rivals for the fifth consecutive race when he beat four rivals to take the Kranji Stakes A contest over 1200m at Kranji here today.

Facing his biggest test yet, the Australian four-year-old, ridden by Danny Beasley, was equal to the task. After letting stablemate YIN XIN took the early lead, he charged to the front and won by one and a quarter lengths from TEXAN TAKEOVER who had previously won all his three starts in Singapore.

Purchased for A$44,000 at the Horses In Training Sale, GOAL KEEPER has now chalked up eight wins in 13 starts, and is unbeaten in six outings on the polytrack.

"He’s shown his versatility today winning on the turf but I think he’s a better horse on the polytrack," said trainer Theodore Kieser who said his charge will now head back to the polytrack in the next two months.
