Kingtrap bounces back in
big upset SINGAPORE: May

KINGTRAP (Sandtrap - Sew Straight by Straight
Strike) bounced back to form after 23 months to create a big upset in the
Class 4 - 1100m sprint on the polytrack at Kranji here tonight.
Seizing the opportunity of a start as the
first emergency acceptor, the New Zealand eight-year-old, ridden by Anandan
Subramanian, came from just off the pace to win by half a length from the
fast-finishing HUMOR TOWN.
It was the seventh win in 50 starts for
KINGTRAP who paid S$309 for a win.
The evening's programme had also started
out on a shock note when MY SACRIFICE (Postponed - Spice Girl by Mercury)
broke through for his first win in eight starts to pay S$217 for a win.
