Joao Moreira is edging closer to the magical 200 mark after notching up five wins at Kranji today.

The Brazilian has raised the bar year after year since winning his first title in 2010 with a record 116 winners. Last year, he rewrote the mark with 153 winners.

With the title in his bag for another year, it's now a matter of how many winners he ended up with you. His five winners today took his tally to 182 for the season and there is 15 more meetings left of the season in Singapore.

Moreira, however, will miss four meetings due to overseas assignments.

On the magical 200 mark, Moreira said it was a record he was not even thinking of at the start of the season. "But things have gone on so well this year that suddenly I’ve realised reaching that target of 200 wins was possible."
