HAPPY REALM equalled a long-standing course record with a runaway win in the Class 3 - 1200m handicap here today.

Starting as even-money favourite, the Australian five-year-old never gave his rivals a chance, shooting to the front from the jump and made all the running to win by two-and-three-quarter lengths.

HAPPY REALM, who has six wins from 29 previous starts, covered the journey in 1min 9.3 secs which was first set by KING'S SEAL in 1993 and latter matched by I'M DEWAN in 1999.
