SH Tan continues good run with treble

PENANG:  May 13, 2012

Dr Tan Swee Hock, who is enjoying his best season yet has a trainer, saddled three winners at his home base here today to close the gap on leading trainer Richard Lines.

Tan, who won the MRA Cup with CIZEN WORLD on this track in March, opened accounts today with TERMINATOR ATTACK (Bletchley Park - Queen's Melody by Marscay) in the opening event.

Tan then teamed up with S Sandana Kumar to win back-to-back races with COLOURLAND KID (Dubleo - Carnegie Minstrel by Carnegie) and JOE CZARINA (Falvelon - Czarina by Royal Academy).

All three winners enjoyed their first success under Tan who took over their training at the tail-end of last year.

The treble brought Tan's tally to 24 for the season, six behind Richard Lines.
