Super Easy victory in Paititi Gold Trophy

SUPER EASY stretches his unbeaten run to 11 in the Paititi

After making a clean sweep of the Singapore three-year-old series — winning the Sprint, Classic and Guineas — SUPER EASY took on an open field of sprinters and came up on top again in the Group 3 S$200,000 Paititi Gold Trophy over 1200m at Kranji today.

Resuming after his narrow but deserving come-from-behind win in the Group 1 Singapore Guineas (1600m) two months ago, the New Zealand colt had it more easy this time, came from just off the pace to win by four lengths, giving champion jockey Joao Moreira a dream ride.

With the victory, SUPER EASY (Darci Barhma - Parfore by Gold Brose) stretch his unbeaten run in Singapore to 11 wins, after having registered a win, a third and a fourth in three starts as a juvenile in New Zealand. He is now one short of BETTER THAN EVER's streak of 12 consecutive wins in Singapore.

"I’ve been involved with a lot of great horses over the years including back home in Australia, but this horse would be right up there with them," said trainer Michael Freedman of his charge.
