Trainer Michael Freedman's
fantastic run in feature races continued tonight when he saddled SUPER GOOD
(Fastnet Rock - Tonic by Blues Traveller) to victory in the Aushorse Golden
Horseshoe Preview over 1200m at Kranji.
The Australian had won the
Singapore Three-Year-Old Challenge on March 30 with SUPER EASY and brought
off a feature double with MR BIG in the Kranji Sprint and NANDOWRA in the
JBBA Moonbeam Vase last Sunday.
Newcomer SUPER GOOD, bought
for NZ$170,000 as a yearling, started odds-on favourite in the two-year-old
contest and won drawing away by two and a half lengths from the
front-running SMART DRAGON.
SUPER GOOD will probably go
into the Group 2 $325,000 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe on May 18 as one the
favourites.
