TEXAN TAKEOVER (Stravinsky
- Snapdragon by Galileo) followed up on runaway win in his Singapore debut a
month ago to capture the Class 3 - 1100m sprint on the polytrack at Kranji
here tonight.
In so doing, the Australian
four-year-old also brought up a treble for trainer Michael Freedman who
pulled ahead at the top of the trainer's stable with 58 winners, three clear
of last season's champion Steven Burridge.
Ridden again by Joao
Moreira, TEXAN TAKEOVER beat two last-start winners in CODIGO and
TERMINATOR, giving the Brazilian his second winner of the evening.
TEXAN TAKEOVER cost just
A$32,500 as a yearling and started five times in Victoria for two wins and
two seconds.
