Second consecutive win for West Two

PENANG:  June 30, 2012

Singapore discard WEST TWO has now won two from two since his move across the causeway to join the stables of trainer Nor Azman.

Ridden by apprentice Mohd Yazid, the New Zealand four-year-old had to battle for his second consecutive win, defeating COLOURLANDPRESTIGE by a neck with YOUNG GUN a further short head away third.

WEST TWO (Pins - Wry by Rory's Jester) was purchased for former jockey Kim Clapperton for NZ$30,000 as a yearling for Auric Stable, who raced him 10 times in Singapore for a win over 1000m on the polytrack.

Given a new lease of life, WEST TWO his taking every opportunity to show his worth in Malaysia.
