A'Isisuhairi shines with four winners

After a quiet start to his career at Kranji, A'Isisuhairi Kassim is beginning to make waves in the Singapore racing scene.

While champion jockey Joao Moreira booted home three winners, the Kelantan-born apprentice stole the thunder from him with four winners in the Good Friday meeting today.

It's not the first time A'Isisuhairi has ridden four winners though. "I rode four winners in Avondale before. But it sure is a big thrill to do it here in Singapore," said the young lad who was already showing promise during his training days in New Zealand.

One of his biggest thrills "down under" was winning on AFRICAN PULSE for his then master Michael Moroney at Flemington last August.

"I'm just lucky. Things went my way today" was his modest reaction to winning on CRACKERJACK, MR EPIC, LORD ROBERTO and SHAOLIN SOLDIER for four different trainers.

Indentured to Steven Burridge, A'Isisuhairi moved up to fourth spot in the table after his four-timer today.
