GOOD BABY clearing away from KING EMPIRE to win the
Sprint Trophy

GOOD BABY completed a hat-trick of big race wins when he annihilated his rivals in the RM500,000 Sprint Trophy over 1400m here today.

Jockey Azhar Ismail confidently parked the Australian five-year-old in midfield in the early stages of the running in heavy going after an overnight downpour.

GOOD BABY moved up swiftly round the home bend and was within striking distance of the leader HARRYS PAL at the top of the straight.

GOOD BABY hit the front soon after cleared away from his rivals to win by four lengths.

Former Singapore galloper KING EMPIRE finished second with GOOD SIGHT third of 12 runners.

Winner of the RM1mil Magic Millions Classic in 2011, GOOD BABY won the Sultan Gold Vase (1100m) in July last year but is on top of his game this season with wins in the MRA Cup (1400m) and the Selangor Gold Cup (1600m) in March.

Overall, he has won 10 times in 24 starts and amassed RM1,779,000 in prizemoney for champion owner Golden Knight Stable
