Good Baby stamps his class again

KUALA LUMPUR:  Mar 31, 2013

GOOD BABY continues to stamp his class in the new season by winning his second consecutive feature event in the RM300,000 Selangor Gold Cup over 1600m at Sungei Besi here today.

Winner of the RM1mil Magic Millions Classic in 2011, the Australian gelding won the Sultan Gold Vase (1100m) last July but is a much improved this season.

He returned to the winner's circle when winning the RM300,000 MRA Cup over 1400m in Ipoh early this month.

With Azhar Ismail in the saddle again, GOOD BABY led his stablemates GOOD SIGHT and GOOD JUDGEMENT home in a 1-2-3 finish for trainer Kevin Coetzee in a wide-open betting race.

With today win, GOOD BABY has now earned more than RM1.47mil in prizemoney from nine wins and five placings in 23 starts. He was sold for A$110,000 as a weanling but passed in at A$130,000 at the yearling sale.
