Amazing Brother bags Inglis trophy

AMAZING BROTHER, narrowly beaten last time out when his saddle slipped, made no mistake this time when he took out the RM65,000 Inglis Ready2Race Sale Oct 3 Trophy here today.

The weight-for-age event for three-year-olds sponsored by William Inglis & Sons produced a blanket finish despite the soft going.

Partner by champion jockey Eirwan Khalid, AMAZING BROTHER beat the outsider ITS ONLY MONEY by a nose with KUANTAN HILL another short head away third.

It was maiden win in four starts for AMAZING BROTHER and Eirwan went on to complete a double on KIM SALUTE.

Benny Woodworth landed his first win on his return to action after an overseas assignment when successful on WILL POWER.

The partnership was beaten by a nose last time out. It was, however, the sixth win in 52 starts for the seven-year-old.
