Corey Brown, who landed
just three winners in the past four weeks riding in Singapore, managed to
double the score with a superb treble at Kranji here tonight.
GOLIATH, who won his last
start with Brown astride two weeks ago, made it a winning double with the
Aussie in the saddle again in the Class 4 - 1700m handicap on the polytrack.
The three-year-old has now three wins in 12 starts.
PETRENUI, winner of three
of four starts in Perth, was off the mark in Singapore after a narrow
victory in the Kranji Stakes C - 1000m sprint, also on the polytrack.
The three-year-old ruined
his chances with a slow start in his debut on May 5 but made no mistake this
time around, although he was hard pressed with Brown astride before winning
by a short head.
Brown wound up his evening
scoring on YIN JIE in the final event, bringing up a second win in seven
starts for the three-year-old.
The Melbourne Cup-winning
jockey leaves at the end of next month to try his luck in Europe.
