Attorney General wins after 23-month spell

It's rare for a horse who has been on the sidelines for more than a year to come back to racing with all guns blazing.

For ATTORNEY GENERAL, it was all the more incredible that he easily won the RM55,000 Geisel Park Stud Trophy here today after being off the scene for 23 months.

Despite his long absence, the Australian gelding was well supported, jumped to the front on settling down and made every post a winning one, winning by three lengths.

ATTORNEY GENERAL was brought to Singapore unraced and had two starts in August 2001 for a first-up third and a win. He has not raced again at Kranji since and was earlier this year shipped across the border to Kuala Lumpur.
