Trainer Chong Keng Leong has plenty to shout about here this afternoon when he saddled three winners — his best afternoon for quite a long while.

Chong started got the ball rolling when he sent out HOHOHO to win the RM65,000 Nolen Racing Ready-To-Run 2YO Trophy over 1200m.

With Henry Barnabas in the saddle, the newcomer was simply too good for his rivals, winning by two and a half lengths.

ALI BABA, who finished down the field in six runs after recording his last victory last Apr 13, bounced back in style to win by four and a quarter lengths in the very next race.

Chong and Lucky Nine Stable completed the treble when VIBRANT SPIRIT maintained his last start winning form to record his sixth win in 39 starts.
