Hudson Stable's made-in-USA double

Hudson Stable, who brought in a big string of 24 American breds last year which they purchased at the yearling sales the year before, is now enjoying the rewards of their huge investment.

The new owners have already won some races with their team, all trained by Prakhash Pereira here, but they had their first double today when RIGHT TIMING and OUR CHICK MAN won the two Restricted Maiden races.

RIGHT TIMING, who cost US$17,000 as a yearling, finished sixth in his debut here two weeks ago and stepped up on that effort to win by half a length.

OUR CHICK MAN was a modest US$12,000 purchase and quickly showed his potential too with a half-length victory in his debut. Both horses were ridden by Alan Ng.
