LITTLEBITOFJOY, crowned champion 4YO in
Malaysia last year after winning the final two legs of the championship
series, has begun the new season in winning fashion here today.
Ridden by apprentice Rueven Ravindra, the American
entire easily accounted for his six rivals to capture the RM75,000 Jockey
Club Of Turkey Trophy over 1800m.
It was the fifth win in 17 starts for
LITTLEBITOFJOY who is trained by Edylyn Goh.
Goh, who was granted a MRA licence last
year, managed her first double when another American bred HENNESSY DRAGON
showed up for the first time in five starts to win the Maiden - 1400m
handicap.
Costing US$100,000 as a yearling, the
gelding was unplaced in one run in the USA and was out of action for 13
months after making his debut in November 2011.
