Veteran trainers steal the show

Veteran trainers Chong Keng Leong and Leong Poh Keong had their best ever day for a long while when they saddled four winners each as home based trainers made a clean sweep of the nine race staged here today.

The main feature of the day, the RM75,000 Dato Yeoh Cheang Lee Trophy, however, went to Nor Azman who sent out IWA ANTILIA to victory in the Class 3 - 1600m handicap.

The Japanese gelding, who managed two wins from 16 starts in Singapore, took a while to make his mark in Malaysia but has won six of 14 starts this season.

The other feature event, the RM50,000 Magic Millions "Home Of Champions" Trophy went to AUDACIOUS who was having his third start.
