Brad makes breakthrough for
maiden win SINGAPORE:

The showbiz world was abuzz
with the news this week that Brad Pitt has finally married his long-time
love Angelina Jolie.
At Kranji here tonight, it
was the connections of BRAD the racehorse who have every reason to
celebrate.
After finding one to beat
in his last two starts, the New Zealand gelding went one better this time to
register his maiden win in seven starts.
But BRAD, named after the
super star, had to fight tooth and nail with FEI YUE who had charged to the
front at the home turn. But the four-year-old, ridden by Joao Moreira,
managed to master him after a duel to win by a neck.
BRAD was the only winner on
the night for visiting jockey Moreira who found one to beat in three
consecutive races before scoring on BRAD. He then finished the evening's
programme with another second-place finish.
