Drogba scores first success in Malaysia

Drogba the footballer may not have scored at the World Cup currently taking place in Brazil but DROGBA the racehorse scored his first success in Malaysia when taking out the Class 4 - 1600m handicap here today.

Ridden by jockey Yap Kin Yin, the Australian three-year-old stepped up on his last-start second to win by three-quarter length in his third start in the country.

DROGBA showed potential in Australia when he finished thrice in four outings at two and had two wins and a third at Geelong from five runs at three before coming over to Malaysia.
