Jerome Tan enjoyed one of
his best days as a trainer when he saddled three winners in a seven-card
programme here today.
Singaporean Tan got off to
a great start when nine-year-old LAZAROO coasted to an easy win in the
opening event, the Perth Racing Trophy. It was his second win in his last
three runs with the two wins coming after a lapse of one and a half years.
In all the Australian gelding has won six times in Malaysia and once in
Australia.
BLACK AHEAD returned to
form after eight months to record his second win in 17 starts in the Dr Lim
Ah Soo Trophy in runaway fashion, winning by four and a quarter lengths to
give Tan his second winner of the day.
Tan then wrapped up the day
with DALMATION who bounced to form after 18 months. It was his ninth win in
76 starts which dated back to mid 2008. |
